In order to attend CodeMash you will need to buy a ticket and register. A fully registered attendee will have access to all sessions and events during the days of their ticket. Their ticket will also include meals during those days. There are a total of 1,300 attendee tickets for CodeMash. This is due to the space and food constraints.
Please register here.
Registration Dates
Registration for Alumni will open on 10/17/2012 at 3:05PM EDT. The alumni must have a secret alumni link to buy the ticket. A total of 800 tickets are set aside for alumni priority. The rest of the tickets will go on sale to the general public sometime on 10/24/2012. Please watch the Internet for the exact time. We will announce it no later than noon EDT on 10/23/2012. Registration will close on 12/31/2012 at noon EDT. In the past, all 1,300 tickets have sold out in 22 minutes.
Ticket Types
There are several ticket types for attendees. The first is the base ticket. This includes the Thursday and Friday of the conference. Any base ticket can be upgraded to include (either at time of purchase, or any time before the event) the PreCompiler days. There are two PreCompiler days. You can upgrade by adding just Wednesday, or by adding Tuesday and Wednesday. A PreCompiler day is a series of workshops that are either half day to whole day in length, and focus on hands on learning with industry leaders. The PreCompiler workshops will be announced and posted to the sessions section of the CodeMash website.
Speakers, staff, volunteers, and attendee tickets from sponsorship will receive special codes to register with. If you haven’t received your special code by 11/15/2012 please contact registration@codemash.org.
Pricing & Purchasing
Due to demand and load on the ticketing system, we are limiting each purchase transaction to a single attendee ticket. You must pay through the Eventbrite ticketing system, where we use PayPal as our credit card processing system. Please be prepared for this with a credit card that is not blocked or limited by your bank for use at PayPal. We will not be processing PO’s or invoices at this time.
Conference Only – Thursday and Friday: $260
Conference + Single Precompiler – Wednesday through Friday: $380

Refund/Cancellation Policy
Unavoidable events happen and we understand that. You can cancel your registration at any time up to the day of the event; however, registration fees for the event are refundable only if you cancel at least 30 days prior to the event. After that no refunds are returned.
IMPORTANT: You must handle hotel cancellations separately through the Kalahari (or whichever hotel you made arrangements with). We can’t help you with that! Losing out on CodeMash would be a really awful thing, so we're happy to offer a Send A Geek In My Place policy. You can send somebody to CodeMash in your place if something's preventing you from attending. You can make those changes on the EventBrite website. Instructions for asking for a refund are here.
Sending a Geek in my Place
Things happen. You need to send someone using your hard earned ticket. We understand. Please follow these instructions here to change the name on your ticket. It is allowed to sell someone your ticket, but only at face value. We are not responsible or liable for any third-party ticket sales.
