Are you planning to attend the CodeMash Pre-Compilers? If so, we strongly recommend that you take the time BEFORE the conference to prepare. The wifi during CodeMash can sometimes be a little iffy, especially Tuesday morning on the first day of Pre-Compilers. Gonna chance it and wait to download? You will have to compete with all of your other wonderful CodeMash attendees for bandwidth. They may be seeding their machine to cloud backups, watching youtube videos of cats, and/or pulling the same 5GB file over the Internet and Wi-Fi that you need… by the time you have it, and get it installed, the first break has passed and you are woefully behind.
Moral of the story? Get those pre-reqs installed before you arrive at Kalahari.

In the past, we’ve had speakers updating the pre-requisites hours before CodeMash. We recommend doing an initial download as soon as possible (as there may be large files) and checking again for any last minute changes a few days prior to the conference.
If you don’t see anything posted for your pre-compiler session, please check back! The pre-req sites are a “work in progress” as speakers tweak their presentations and get the pre-reqs to us. We also will explicitly state (if we know) that a pre-requisite download is NOT required.
