Aerospace Engineering for Computer Scientists

It IS rocket science! What do the International Space station and Apollo 1 have to do with basic programming principles? What considerations need to be taken into account when computers go to space? How did computers impact the moon landing? (Hint: it wasn’t special effects!) In this session, you’ll get the answers to all these questions and more! You’ll discover the connections between these two seemingly unrelated fields, and you’ll come away with a better understanding of the aerospace field and how its history is intertwined with that of computers. You might even learn something about programming principles along the way!
