This lab is intended to be a fast paced technology walk-through of the process of creating a 3D printed object. In part one we will briefly cover using curated 3D printer object libraries and different CAD apps that might be more appropriate to different types of projects. Then we will focus in on the process of using CAD to create our model with a NURBS modeler called Rhino3D. We will walk through and create a basic model, as well as look at some completed models that were created for 3d printing and discuss what one should consider to make a successful printable model
