This lab is intended to be a fast-paced technology walk-through of the process of creating a 3D printed object. In part two, we will discuss scaling, splitting, tolerances and other final model steps in Rhino3D, as well as converting to a stereo lithography file the slicer program (Cura) can read. We’ll discuss the various settings in CURA and how to set up the G-CODE file that the printer will use. Last but not least we will load a model on a Ultimaker printer and start it printing!
