Have you thought about starting an open-source project? Are you interested in getting involved by contributing to a project? Is your business thinking about releasing some code to the open-source community? In this session, we will look at how to get started contributing to a project and what you need to look out for. We will take a look at starting a new project and how to get free resources to support your efforts. We’ll look at some common pitfalls and tips that you need to know to get on-track. This session will be lead by one of Microsoft’s program managers who leads several open-source projects and collaborates with the .NET Foundation. Attendees will receive all the information they need to start a project, help a project, or release some code to the community successfully.
