I found my passion when at my friend’s house, I looked over at his Commodore Vic-20, and said “What’s that?” I’ve been a developer ever since. I currently work at Progressive Insurance as a Software Test Engineer Lead. Over my 18 years as a developer at Progressive, I pursued expanding the programming craft within the company. For example, I demoed using Extreme Programming practices on a project to see if it would enhance quality (it did). I have always believed that testing is as critical as programming. This made the transition to a Software Test Engineer an obvious choice for me. In my spare time I enjoy: programming, video games, reading, mindfulness meditation, and spending time with my wife and 2 children.
