I was a general education 4th grade teacher for 8 years. This year I am teaching elementary computer science to grades 3-5. I offer two courses, a general computer science course which covers information such as digital citizenship, internet safety, Google Tools, and introductory coding, as well as an exploratory course using robotics and coding with LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 for 4th and 5th graders. I am the coordinator for an after school 4-5 STEM enrichment program, and I do teacher training on the Next Generation Science Standards at a regional level. I previously worked for the St. Louis Science Center.
